Plan your Miami Trip
While our Wedding festivities will be based in Coconut Grove, we encourage you to stay wherever suits you best in Miami. The city is incredibly accessible, and there’s so much to do.
If you’re looking for recommendations on where to stay, take a moment to explore the map below (click to expand) to get a sense of different neighborhoods and their proximity to the venue. We’ve also included an overview of some of our favorite neighborhoods to stay in along with some hotel suggestions for each (don’t forget to check out Airbnbs or VRBO too).
If you’re still needing some help with travel plans, feel free to reach out to one of us.Â
Miami Neighborhood Guide
Take a Tour of Miami and all its sights!

Coconut Grove
Coconut Grove is where all the Wedding fun will be happening! We think it’s a bit of a hidden gem in Miami, offering a more laid-back vibe than other parts of the city while still being just as fun. The heart of Coconut Grove is CocoWalk, a great spot to wander around with plenty of outdoor dining options, coffee shops, boutique shopping, and bars.
Coconut Grove is smaller than other Miami suburbs, which means fewer hotels that can be pricey. However, adjacent to Coconut Grove is Coral Gables, a similar but larger neighborhood with more and often cheaper accommodation options.
If you choose to stay in Coconut Grove or Coral Gables you won’t be more than a 5-10 minute uber/taxi from the venue.
We have pulled together a few hotel suggestions for both areas below, including a designated room block at the Hotel Arya (which is very close to the venue). However, we would also highly recommend looking for AirBnb or VRBO options (we’re staying in an AirBnB in Coral Gables). There are plenty of gorgeous properties around both neighborhoods for affordable rates. You can also look at Brickell or South Beach as alternative options too. (More info below)Â

- Hotel Arya (Coconut Grove)
We have set up a room block at the Hotel Arya for the wedding, which has a slightly discounted rate. There is no obligation to stay at this hotel, however, it is very close to venue and has great amenities.

Coral Gables

Brickell/Downtown
To the North East of Coconut Grove you’ll find Brickell. Brickell is a dynamic and vibrant neighborhood. It’s where a lot of ‘young professionals’ tend to live in Miami and is full of sleek high-rise buildings facing Biscayne Bay. Brickell is more lively than Coconut Grove or Coral Gables and has some of the best shopping, restaurants and nightlife in Miami (outside of Miami Beach).Â
There are a number of hotel options for Brickell – that are likely more economical than Coconut Grove or Coral Gables. We have included a few options here. When we stay in Brickell we usually book an AirBnb. For Brickell in particular there seems to be a high volume of AirBnbs, many of which are apartments in high-rise buildings that have roof top pools and amazing views of the city.Â
We consider Brickell relatively close to Coconut Grove. You’ll likely only be a 10-15 minute uber away.Â
Brickell has a large number of hotels and areas to stay at. Below are just some recommendations, but we encourage you to look at other options as well!
Brickell/Downtown

Miami Beach
Miami beach is made up of three neighborhoods – South Beach, Mid Beach and North Beach – there is a scenic boardwalk that stretches along the entire coastline of Miami beach and connects the three neighborhoods together. All three neighborhoods are beautiful. South Beach is where the fun is usually at, while Mid-beach is a more relaxed and upscale neighborhood that offers a quieter alternative – which usually comes with a hefty price point. If you choose to stay in Mid-Beach please be advised that it will take you about 35-45 minutes (or even an hour) to get to Coconut Grove depending on traffic. For North Beach you’d be looking at slightly longer.Â
Miami Beach is the main reason we always come to Miami. It’s a neighborhood on Miami Beach – an island off mainland Miami. It is the more iconic and vibrant part of Miami Beach. It’s known for its lively atmosphere, beautiful beaches, nightlife and the famous Ocean Drive. It’s in the more touristy part of Miami but the beaches are worth it in our opinion. It’s one of our favorite places to visit .Â
If you choose to stay in South Beach (an area we love!) please allow anywhere from 30-40 minutes to get to Coconut Grove on Saturday depending on traffic. There will be plenty of Ubers that can take you there.  If you choose not to stay here, we still recommend spending any free time you can vising!
South Beach – and all of Miami Beach – has hundreds of hotel options – we stay in a different one each time we go. We’d recommend researching hotels and AirBnBs in South Beach as prices can vary.Â
Given how large south beach is, we’d recommend checking the driving distance from your hotel to the venue ahead of booking to ensure you’re staying in a convenient spot.
