FAQ
RSVPs
Visit the RSVP page and fill out the short form to let us know if you can make it.
In order for us to track the responses, each guest has their own invitation that must be looked up. If you have any issues finding your name, let us know.
Please RSVP by November 1st 2024, especially those that are coming from overseas.Â
It’s nothing personal – we love your kids – but unfortunately we’re not going to be able to accommodate children at the Wedding venue.Â
Given the strict numbers for the venue capacity, we cannot accommodate any plus ones that were not part of the initial Wedding invitation.
Travel
The closest and most popular airport to fly into is Miami International Airport (MIA). We’d recommend jumping into an Uber, Lyft or airport taxi service when you arrive. It should take around 15-30 mins depending on traffic to get to downtown Miami.Â
If you’re looking for alternative (and sometimes cheaper) flights take a look at flying into Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). It’s very accessible however, depending on traffic it can add on anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour (sometimes longer) to get to Miami. We’d recommend using Uber or Lyft from FLL over the airport taxi service to avoid the meter going up in case you get stuck in bad traffic.Â
Everything you need to know is on the Plan Your Trip page. The TL;DR is all the festivities will be based in Coconut Grove but Miami has many different neighborhoods that are all very accessible to the venue and vary in price so feel free to stay in whichever neighborhood best suits you.Â
We have set up a room block at the Hotel Arya for the wedding, which has a slightly discounted rate. There is no obligation to stay at this hotel, however, it is very close to venue and has great amenities. Please use this link to book through the website directly.
Depending on where you’re coming from, we encourage you to check the latest rules and regulations before making your trip, as you may be eligible for some VISA Waiver programs. You will need at least an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) to be permitted into the USA, if you are not a citizen or current visa holder. More information can be found by clicking here.
For those coming from Brasil, you will need to apply for a visa (find out how here)
Wedding & Events
The dress code is cocktail attire. Â
In general, temperatures in March can be anywhere from 20c – 28c (68F-82F). We’re definitely hoping for sunshine and warm weather over the weekend so cross your fingers.
Most of the Wedding will take place indoors but there will be an outside area to catch some fresh air.Â
We’re asking for guests to avoid taking pictures during the ceremony. However, outside of that, pictures and videos are not only allowed, but highly encouraged. We are planning to have a central place to share all your pictures, so please stay tuned.Â
Please check our Schedule section for details on each event. We’ll keep updating it as we go.Â
The doors for the ceremony will open at 3:45pm though, and if you’re looking to grab a cheeky drink beforehand there are some bars nearby. No doubt you’ll find Rafael in one of them from 2pm.Â
With so many of you flying in, we wanted to try to all get together before the Wedding for some drinks and food to introduce everyone and break the ice.
The event is completely optional, but we do need to know how many of you can make it so we can plan accordingly. Let us know if you’d like to join us for it on the RSVP. Â
Warning: we are not responsible for any hangovers from this event.Â
Miscellaneous
We appreciate how far you have traveled to be with us for this weekend and that in itself is a gift. So please don’t feel obliged to bring a gift. However, if you’re still thinking about getting us something, we’d love it if you could contribute to our honeymoon fund.
You can visit our Registry page to donate.
We are going to keep this website updated as we go, so check back nearer the time for more info.Â
